I'm a teacher who specializes in helping kids that are struggling. I have previously worked with public schools in Miami Dade county as an interventionist, working with schools who have grade levels of D and below. I have also worked with AVID, a tutoring program that is mandated by Florida for students in low income neighborhoods. I am able to work with students to help improve their grades in a variety of subjects including American and US history, social studies, political science, essay editing and writing, journalism, reading, and phonics. I am also able to tutor students in some advanced placement courses as well, including AP human geography, AP US government and politics, and AP comparative government and politics. In my free time, I enjoy working out, reading, and writing.
